Who am I anyway?

I'm Christopher Prevoe, a software architect and technologist with 19-ish years of experience as of 2026. I focus on creating effective software systems with a focus on automation (testing, building, deploying, the works), maintainability, and good design. I enjoy technical puzzles, digital wayfinding, and exploring various solutions with people.

I enjoy teaching and I enjoy learning. I consider these critical pieces of both my personal and professional life. I believe strongly that people happily provide their best when they are given the opportunity to learn, experiment, and grow. To this end, I have been so fortunate to spend my career surrounded by people who I can exchange knowledge with.

My superpower is breadth, and I generally work as a Software Architect with a focus on build systems, infrastructure, and backend software systems.

I am currently finishing up a self-imposed unpaid sabbatical exploring different technologies, reviewing literature, and updating my skillset. This has included Rust, Kubernetes, and a little AI exploration.
